Fourth Grade Students Learn Culinary Skills

The Newell Fourth Grade joined kitchen staff members Betty Bruner and Marlee Sais to prepare their own Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program snack. They learned the steps to prepare the tasty veggies and fresh dressing dips under the watchful eyes of Bruner and Sais. FFVP is a program that gives K-5 students access to a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables on a daily basis.
