BELLE Vanessa Kudlock and Alicia Kokesh are life-long Belle Fourche friends. After high school graduation, career paths took them in separate directions. Vanessa became a Certified Nurse Practitioner (CNP) while Alicia became a teacher. Vanessa is a graduate of Walden University in Minneapolis where she earned a degree in nursing in 2019. Alica graduated from Black Hills State University.
As way leads onto way, Vanessa and Alicia recently combined skills and are now working together at the newly established Tri-State Medical Center.0
Vanessa, who describes the CNP certification as similar to that of a Physician’s Assistant, saw a need for a family practice clinic in Belle Fourche that offers old-fashioned care as well as small-town respect for patients. Her vision is that primary health care is important to long life and quality of life.
Vanessa knew that the new clinic she envisioned would need a business manager. That’s where Alicia comes in. Alicia’s teacher training and familiarity with office management were a natural fit and as karma works, the timing was perfect.
The Tri-State Medial Center is accessible, friendly and affordable local clinic. They offer same day appointments and accept most types of insurance.
The Tri-State Medical Center provides full service clinic services in dermatology, dermatological, pediatric, men and women’s health, pediatric and sports medicine.
Vanessa and Alicia are passionate about health opportunities such as All Women Count, a state funded program that offers free mammograms and other cancer screenings to all women. “We want patients to know that such services exist and to know how to benefit from them.” Vanessa explained.
Tri-State Medical Center is clearly an asset to Belle Fourche and the neighboring community. The clinic is located at 2398 5th Avenue Suite 101 in Belle Fourche. It’s easy to find on the west side of Highway 85 in front of the AmericInn hotel and there is plenty of parking.
