It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Roy Huffman who left us on Friday, November 3, 2023, at the age of 80. Roy led a life filled with love, joy, and dedication. He was a devoted husband, loving father, cherished grandfather, and a dear friend to many. His impact on those around him was immeasurable, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, strength, and resilience. 

   He taught High School Science, Art, Photography, & Physics. He coached Basketball, tennis, track, cross country, softball, & facilitated science clubs. Many of his students remember him as their favorite teacher. Throughout his 80 years, Roy pursued his passions with enthusiasm, analysis, and a competitive spirit. He loved tennis, science, art, and travel. Roy will be remembered not only for his achievements but for the kindness and compassion he extended to others. His laughter, wisdom, and warm spirit created lasting memories that will be cherished by all who knew him. 

    Roy is survived by his siblings: Clarence Huffman and Rosalie Bury, his two sons Kent and Troy Huffman, and his grandson Caleb Huffman. Roy was preceded in death by his parents Clarence and Rhoda Huffman. Roy was especially fond of his grandmother, Francis Harney. Roy was a pillar of support and a source of inspiration for his family, always offering unwavering love and guidance. His memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him.
